Bug-Beats produce lively sounds that will spark young imaginations
Percussion Play's Bug-Beats collection of outdoor musical instruments features three colourful 'bugs' that generate lively sounds.
Flower Beetle (large): black and white body, red wings
Honey Beetle (medium): yellow body, green wings
Leaf Beetle (small): red body, purple wings
Each bug has wings made from strong, hollow polymer designed like temple blocks with notches for a sensory experience. They produce sound through vibration, and striking them with a mallet creates a loud echo. The mallet can also be scraped along the notches for a ratchet sound, similar to a güiro.
Bug-Beats can be mounted on stainless-steel posts or retrofitted to existing instruments, play equipment, fences or walls.
