Leander makes cast plaques in many different shapes and in sizes ranging from 100mm across to 1200mmm diameter. These can incorporate logos, badges and coats of arms in addition to text.

A regular client approached Leander to produce a huge blue plaque to commemorate the pioneers who helped to establish and shape the Notting Hill carnival. Evolving to be over 1800mm in diameter and including 75 names, this plaque is probably the largest cast aluminium "Blue Plaque" in the world.

Leander Architectural casts very large plaques and signs everyday, something that smaller manufacturers usually do not have the resources or capacity for. Large plaques are often difficult to cast, due to their thickness/area ratio. Bringing over 140 years of manufacturing experience to the fore, the Leander team successfully cast and finished this record breaking plaque with great flair.

From the first enquiry, Leander will help with design, choice of materials, colours, languages, grammar and fixings. Every plaque produced is first drawn to scale giving the customer the opportunity to request changes or simply approve the layout.
