Phi Group - gabions

Gabion Retaining Walls are formed using a series of rectangular steel mesh baskets. Either woven or welded mesh at various thickness and corrosion protection are used, depending on the quality of finish required. Phi Group has designed and built many gabion walls all over the country. The cost of constructing gabion walls is largely dictated by the cost of the 6G gabion infill stone, that can vary widely depending on which part of the country the project is located.

Phi Group also specialise in the use of gabion baskets as architectural features. They are widely used as cladding to building and to form free standing visual and acoustic barriers.
