The £120m expansion scheme will almost double the size of the company’s operations on the site – known as The Nest – off Barrow Road in the town, and lead to the creation of up to 1200 jobs.
Phi Group's Harewood office, near Leeds, will carry out the design, supply and installation of over 6,000 square metres of Permacrib timber crib and gabion retaining walls. Our colleagues from Keller will also be carrying out the installation of 300 soil nails to a soil nailed slope with a face area of 600 square metres.
The contract award from Buckingham Group Contracting Limited, one of the country's leading Principal Contractors, is a great achievement for Tom Rowbottom, Phi Group's Regional Manager, and his team.
