In over 2 hectares of protected production, Coles propagates the majority of their container-grown plants in-house. Within current production, compost is 30% peat-free (wood-fibre). Coles own propagated plants are potted initially into peat-free compost up to P9 containers. Over 1.5 million cuttings are taken each year across the 600 shrub
