Magmatac™ tactile paving tiles / panels are designed to alert visually impaired pedestrians to potential hazards. They are available with a corduroy or blister pattern. The blister pattern is available in in-line or offset versions.

Tiles can be bonded to asphalt, concrete or steel. The flexible design allows them to mould to most surface undulations. The tiles can be easily applied to existing surfaces with minimum disruption and no lengthy or expensive structural work. They can be used within two hours of being laid.

The resin bonded aggregate used in the tiles has a Mohs hardness of 9 and is suitable for use in heavily trafficked pedestrian areas.

Magmatac™ is also compliant with relevant standards - it meets all of the criteria outlined by the DETR, British Standards and the Office of the Rail Regulator.
