Shelley Signs Ltd designs and produces oak lectern-frame signage for a wide range of applications.

The picture shows an interpretive sign with an oak lectern frame, which masks a narrow steel lectern frame, at an archaeological site.

Using state-of-the-art full colour printers, Shelley Signs can print directly onto a variety of sign materials. This eliminates the use of paper and vinyl, which are often the cause of water ingress and cracking problems.

Inks on these printers are UV-cured, which means no ozone-depleting chemicals or solvents are used.

The most robust material is GRP, where the graphics are fully encapsulated to form a homogeneous, smooth surface with a high level of impact resistance and secure hidden fixings.

Artwork can be submitted on-line in partial or complete format. Alternatively, Shelley Signs' in-house design team can undertake projects ranging from simple plaques to complex interpretive panels.
