Shelley Signs Ltd has over 35 years experience designing and producing bespoke signs and panels in a variety of materials.
The company is best known for its interpretive signs and panels used in countryside and heritage sites.
The picture shows an interpretive sign with an oak lectern frame, which masks a narrow steel lectern frame, at an archaeological site.
Using state-of-the-art full colour printers, Shelley Signs can print directly onto a variety of sign materials. This eliminates the use of paper and vinyl, which are often the cause of water ingress and cracking problems.
Inks on these printers are UV cured, which means no ozone-depleting chemicals or solvents are used.
The most robust material is GRP, where the graphics are fully encapsulated to form a homogeneous, smooth surface with a high level of impact resistance and secure hidden fixings.
Artwork can either be supplied on disc or in partially complete format. Alternatively, Shelley Signs in-house design team can undertake projects ranging from simple plaques to complex interpretive panels.
