TILESoundBlok® noise barrier tiles are manufactured from carefully selected specialist aggregates with angular face which are bonded together using the company's patented method. This allows the system to use a low amount of binder while still retaining a strong bond, resulting in a robust material ideal for sound absorption in a variety of applications.
- High sound absorption
- Cost-effective – labour is reduced
- Robust – strong enough to be used in tunnels
- Attractive finish – available in any RAL colour
- Non-combustible – class O fire safety rating
- Weather-resistant – can easily withstand the elements
Gramm can also make bespoke solutions based on the individual needs of the client/project. This has included designing acoustic treatment for studios, attaching to fire-resistant boards for use in tunnels, motorway and rail barriers and designing custom finishes for use in nightclubs.
Specification
Due to the strength, durability and manufacturing flexibility of TILESoundBlok®, installation is very flexible. As with any porous sound absorber, it is recommend if possible, to have an air gap between the panel and any hard surface as this will greatly improve the absorption, particularly in the lower frequencies.
TILESoundBlok® panels can be fixed onto steel or timber rails which are secured to existing walls or columns using various fixing methods. The TILESoundBlok® material can also be encased within Gramm's various noise barrier cassettes.
