The ELT715 Eltham is a square stainless steel bollard with a satin polished finish as standard. The Eltham bollard is 1000mm above ground height assisting with the requirements of the DDA and BS 8300. It is available in various options and materials from base plated and removable, to galvanised steel with polyester powder coated finish. Reflective tape can be applied to the bollards to aid the visually impaired.

Materials and finishes:

  • Stainless steel - G304 bright or satin polished

  • Stainless steel - G316 bright or satin polished

  • Steel - galvanised and polyester powder coated finish

Installation

Root fixed

  • Foundation depth is usually the same as the root depth of the bollard

  • Minimum recommended foundation is the root profile plus 200mm

  • Concrete mix to 25 newtons

Removable

  • Foundation depth 320mm

  • Minimum recommended foundation 450mm sq

  • Dig an additional drainage hole 80mm (d) by 150mm sq; fill with pea shingle (directly below socket)

  • Concrete mix to 25 newtons
