The Arpa bench is constructed from a hollow but robust fibre-glass concrete body – equally meeting the complex demands for functionality, ergonomics and modularity. Conceptual in design, it is suitable for both outdoor and indoor areas.
Perfect for large public spaces, the Arpa benches adds character and can adapt in design to accommodate different styles that fit modern-day public activities. It would sit perfectly in city streets, plazas and squares, public parks and gardens, river and canal sides, patios, terraces, rooftops, or any large public spaces where visitors are invited to rest comfortably.
Designed by German landscape architects, its form was inspired by a public park in Munich. Using ‘streams of motion’ as their source of inspiration they incorporated curved dynamic shapes and courses into the benches design. The bench has modular functionalities and can have multiple additional units added to extend the length. Backrests and different types of seat materials are also available.
Arpa is a modular bench system of glass fibre concrete which can be individually designed. The seat pads are available in wood or leather execution, or in glass fibre execution with contrasting colours.
The Concrete Rudolph® Arpa designer bench belongs to the Urban Design® family.
