Granite rock armour for coastal erosion control

Colas ships aggregates and armour stone from Carnsew Quarry, Cornwall via the nearby Port of Falmouth. Carnsew Granite has been used in several rock armour projects along the south coast. Based on the edge of the Carnmenellis Granite intrusion, Carnsew, is Cornwall's largest inland quarry.
