CoirMesh™ open-weave, pure coconut erosion control mesh blankets are designed for use in areas where plants are slow to establish or with highly erosive environments and harsh climate conditions.

Typical applications include riverbanks and drainage channels, exposed sites such as uplands or coasts, wildflower areas in need of restoration, and recreation areas where abrasion is high.

CoirMesh™ controls soil loss and promotes sedimentation, creating a micro-climate that is favourable to plant growth. It shelters seedlings against windrock and decomposes slowly to provide prolonged protection.

A wide range of coir mesh densities and patterns, including looped piles, is available to meet various surface protection requirements and plant needs.

CoirMesh™ products have a high tensile strength that can be used to offer temporary soil reinforcement.
