TRL700 SS Transport bollard

The Transport bollard has been designed specifically for use on London's arterial and local roads to provide a robust and high visible roadside feature. Available in stainless steel and mild steel, it has a flat top and a 150mm high recess for the provision of reflective tape. This version is supplied in G304 satin polished stainless steel with black reflective tape as standard, however other finishes and standards are available on request.

The Transport bollard can also be supplied as either removable or base plated option.

Installation

• Root fixed

  • Foundation depth is usually the same as the root depth of the bollard

  • Minimum recommended foundation square is the root square plus 200mm

  • Concrete mix to 25 newtons

• Base plate

  • Base plates have 4no fixing holes to take M16 bolts (maximum). Fixings not supplied

• Removable

  • Foundation depth 320mm

  • Minimum recommended foundation 450mm sq

  • Dig an additional drainage hole 80mm (d) x 150mm (sq) and fill with pea shingle (directly below socket)

  • Concrete mix to 25 newtons
