The company uses its own, on-site facilities comprising pattern making and casting, precision engineering, fabricating and welding and can work across a range of materials and in any style.

Materials used

Post and rail, and post and panel systems, are available in cast iron, ductile iron, aluminium, steel, stainless steel, polymer and recycled plastic – direct from the company's works in Yorkshire.

There is the facility to cast in bronze, gunmetal and aluminium alloys for particularly high-profile projects.

Sustainability

ASF uses iron, steel, stainless steel, aluminium and plastic from recycled sources. For cast iron products, the recycling plant is part of the on-site facilities.

Variations

Variations include traditional, unobtrusive, and modern styles, as well as knee rail and glass balustrade options for interior and exterior use.

Restoration

ASF renovates and refurbishes existing post & rail systems - particularly those in cast iron where the company's experience and manufacturing skill set comes into its own.
