The Celcon Thin-Joint system combines Celcons Plus Block range of accurately dimensioned, aircrete blocks with Celfix, a specially developed thin-layer mortar. It is a classified modern method of construction (MMC), and has NHBC approval.

Celfix mortar is cement-based and supplied as a dry powder in 25kg bags. It has been designed to replace the traditional sand:cement mortar.

With initial bond time of around 15 minutes, storey height panels can be achieved in one lift and structurally loaded within 1-2 hours.

This allows a building to be constructed faster and to a better quality, enabling follow-on trades to start work in a weatherproof environment.
