HBRS combines ECBs manufactured from sustainably-sourced natural materials with hydromulch and organic binding agents.
Its flexibility enables it to follow the undulations and contours of a slope, whilst its weave absorbs the impact of heavy rainfall and reduces run-off velocity instead of directly hitting the soil and causing surface erosion.
The deep root structure binds the soil together and the ECB is decomposing whilst providing nutrients to the surrounding plant life, within 12-18 months of installation.
The light brown colour and organic make-up of the natural fibres mean it is more aesthetically-pleasing and eco-friendly than other erosion control methods.
