Blue slate (also known as Welsh blue slate or heather slate) is suitable for use in pathways, gardens, drives and as ground cover. It is a good surface to walk on as it is flat, effective at weed suppression, and safe when wet.
Natural blue with pieces of plum and green intermingled (colour can vary from batch to batch).
20mm (actual size ranges between 5 and 30mm). A 40mm blue slate is also available for applications where a larger aggregate size is required.
Best layed to a depth of 3 to 4cm, or deeper for driveways. Will lay flat very quickly.
