Chilham fence panels are double sided, designed for privacy with a completely solid construction.

They are attractive and sturdy, and look as at home in a traditional English cottage garden, as in a modern urban garden.

Chilham fence panels are framed for use with Jacksons' slotted Jakposts. Constructed from Jakcure® pressure treated softwood, using a unique interlocking grooved board system.

Products are made from softwood that is kiln dried before being vacuum pressure treated in accordance with an ISO 9001 accredited process.

The company's Jakcure pressure treatment and preservative process guarantees the timber for 25 years against rot and insect attack for a long, maintenance-free service life.

About the panel

Part of our 'Good Both Sides' range, Chilham is the ultimate double sided panel with maximum privacy. Unlike others panels in the range, Chilham is completely solid meaning there is no line of sight through the panel. 

The unique design has a panelled appearance, with no rails on either side to spoil either yours or your neighbour’s view. The panel looks at home in a traditional English cottage garden as it does in a sleek modern urban garden.

Panel Specification

Our Chilham fence panels are made using our trademark vacuum pressure treated Jakcure® softwood timber and are guaranteed for 25 years. Constructed using stainless steel fixings, our fence panels are built to last.

  • Panels are 1.83m wide

  • Panel thickness is 51mm

  • Panel heights only go up to 1.65m. If you wish to have a taller fence additional gravel boards can be added to the base or the panel can be combined with a fence or trellis topper

  • Matching Chilham Gates are available 1m wide to suit fence 1.65m high

Please Note: dimensions may increase by 6% when first delivered as our treatment process can temporarily cause the product to swell.
