Theories Landscapes uses a team of highly skilled musicians and craftsmen to design and create bespoke musical play solutions for playgrounds, using sustainable materials.

Musical play instruments

Theories is able to draw upon an extensive repertoire of bespoke musical features including large and sculptural bat phones (decorated drainage pipe sections cut to length and beaten with a paddle) and tubular bells (sections of aluminium tube with a sound quality of a bell). Theories also fabricates drums and bamboo chimes, as well as other sensory sound solutions.

Timber play musical equipment

The Tymbella and Alubella musical systems are constructed using sustainable materials, and are available in either hardwood or aluminium. They can be easily integrated into an existing playscape or incorporated as part of a new design. They are affordable, durable, and will provide hours of endless fun, and learning. They are extremely versatile, sound fantastic, and they can be built to a tune rather than a scale for extra interest and player usability.
