Wavin OsmaDrain Gravity Drainage System is a below-ground drainage and sewer pipework system for housebuilding, industrial, and commercial projects, suitable for installation depths up to 10 metres. Made from at least 50% recycled content, it includes pipes and fittings in 110mm and 160mm diameters, with RootSeal Technology to inhibit root ingress.

RootSeal Technology

Provides added protection from trees and root ingress. Using a natural mineral additive to harmlessly repel tree roots reducing potential damage, upheaval and costs - both financial and environmental.

How RootSeal Technology works
An inhibitor is embedded in a new easily identifiable green coloured seal. The inhibitor deters roots from penetrating the pipe or fittings by reducing the intensity of root growth around the socket and seal, while having no other impact on the roots, surrounding soil or wildlife.
