Operational costs

ASF lighting systems are designed to use the most energy-efficient light engines that suit each application. As an example, a typical path lighting scheme can consume as little as 10w of power. ASF systems can be specified with proximity sensors and timers which ensure the lights are only energised when they are required. This ensures optimum longevity for the light product plus minimises the energy consumption. 100,000 hours of longevity have been achieved adopting this strategy.

Whole life maintenance

Contemporary LED systems require an annual inspection to clean the surface of the LED product to keep it performance compliant, plus to inspect the LED drivers to ensure there has been no detriment to their locations that may cause detriment (such as enclosure doors being damaged leading to ingress of water). Aside from this, they are generally maintenance free.
