The RiseGuard RCS impact-tested rising arm barrier, part of Barkers' Resilient Crash Series, is available as either manual or automatic with a locking pin to secure the barrier. Accredited to stop a 7.2 tonne vehicle at 40mph (tested at a clear opening of 7.1m).

The automatic version has a hydraulic locking pin securing the boom in the closed position, that does not rely on impact for the beam to engage catch.

The robust and rigid construction of the barrier achieved a very low penetration with shallow foundations.
