In the Autumn of 2024, Street Design supplied planters and seating products for the external works at Knowle Park House, a new centre for people living with dementia and their carers across north Kirklees.
The newly developed site included state-of-the-art facilities including a wellbeing zone, activity zone, a home therapy zone as well as a sensory garden.
The site will also feature the Centre for Excellence that will provide support and advice for families, professionals, and the wider community to enable more people to live in their own homes for longer. Service users will be able to maintain their independence and delay the need for more intensive and longer term residential and/or nursing care.
A large Diplomat planter was specified to be used on site as an attotment planter as well as some small diameter Swithland planters at the entrance at the front of the building.
Spalding seating was specified and supplied. Straight seats with armrests and a long curved seat with armrests were installed in the rear garden space.
The planters were manufactured in FSC-Certified treated redwood, supplied with a natural finish. The seating products wer supplied with the same timber specification and galvanised and powder coated mild steel metalwork.
