Ecofender™ Bio is a biodegradable newt fencing made from a plant-based biopolymer. It is designed to temporarily exclude or contain small wildlife, such as newts, frogs, and snakes, protecting them from entering hazardous areas like construction sites.
Conventional plastic temporary newt fencing can contribute significantly to microplastic pollution on construction sites. Often, these fences are not properly maintained or removed, which leads to them breaking down and contaminating the surrounding environment.
