Overview

Lang+Fulton supplied Roma-4 fencing to protect the perimeter at the Francis Crick Institute in London.

Vision

A perimeter fence can provide much more than security and boundary demarcation.

With imagination and thoughtful design the material and form of the fencing can be chosen to complement and enrich the architectural qualities of a building.

Work undertaken

The distinctive architecture of the Institute by HOK & PLP Architecture was completed with a bespoke fencing solution from Lang+Fulton.

A complementary aesthetic was achieved by choosing a grating with a mesh of corresponding proportions to that of the façades. Tubular posts were also extended at intervals to provide street lighting.
