Taylor Wimpey contracted Phi Group to design, supply and install two BBA-certified Permacrib timber crib retaining walls at its Berwick Green Development near Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. The two Permacrib walls have a total length of 280m and retain up to 3.5m in height, with a face area of 550m2. A 1.8m fence incorporated into the top of the walls

BBA-certified Permacrib timber crib retaining walls for new housing development
Taylor Wimpey contracted Phi Group to design, supply and install two BBA-certified Permacrib timber crib retaining walls at its Berwick Green Development near Cribbs Causeway in Bristol.
The two Permacrib walls have a total length of 280m and retain up to 3.5m in height, with a face area of 550m2.
The pictures show a 1.8m fence incorporated into the top of the Permacrib walls and also the climb prevention mesh installed to the lower portion of the wall face.
One of the walls is in an area where the houses are now occupied and gives a 'soft' retaining wall option in back garden areas.
