Greenfix rock mattresses are permanent erosion control products for turbulent and fast-flowing watercourses, used as an alternative to rip-rap and gabions. Made from netting and filled with stone, they protect banks and shorelines below water and can support bioengineering solutions.

Rock mattresses are made up of self-contained chambers created from 5mm knotless polyethylene netting with a mesh size of 30 x 30mm and 45 x 45mm. Standard size 2 x 1 x 0.25m.
