CORE PATH Handy Pack
A convenient solution for creating garden paths, containing six smaller sheets designed for easy installation. With an average pathway width of 800mm, this pack can surface a 1.72m-long pathway. The grid’s 18mm depth significantly reduces gravel consumption, requiring only two 20kg bags to fill one handy pack. Covers an area of 1.38m2.

CORE PATH Large Sheet
Designed for more extensive garden paths or patio areas, offering an expanded coverage for landscaping needs. Each sheet is equivalent in size to four of the smaller sheets from the handy pack, with a single heat-welded membrane, covering 0.92m2. With a depth of only 18mm, the large sheet maximises efficiency, providing an impressive aggregate coverage of 35m2 per tonne, making it an ideal choice for contractors working on larger-scale projects.

Creates a firm and stable path

The honeycomb grid construction provides tightly-packed pockets of loose gravel which create a completely porous hardstanding, making it very easy to pass over with wheelie bins, bicycles and scooters, as well as walking over gravel in high heels.

Less gravel required

At only 18mm deep, far less gravel is required. Just 1 tonne 10mm gravel will cover approx 35m2. This equates to a saving of almost 50% when compared to laying a traditional gravel path at a 50mm depth.

This not only saves money on the gravel, but also time and labour when it comes to installation, especially in areas where access is restricted such as the garden of a terraced house, or a roof garden.

DDA-compliant surface

As stated in the UK Government’s approved guideline document, Part M “Access to and Use of Buildings,” the surface of an approach for wheelchair users must be firm enough to support their weight and that of their wheelchair, while also providing a smooth surface for easy manoeuvring. Additionally, the surface should cater to the needs of individuals using sticks or crutches.

Traditionally, loose laid materials such as gravel and shingle are considered unsuitable for these purposes. However, CORE Landscape Products' extensive research, including video footage and case studies, demonstrates that loose laid aggregate within a CORE PATH stabiliser creates a stable surface that accommodates all aforementioned users.

Attached high-quality weed membrane

CORE Landscape Products' unique manufacturing technique enables it to heat-weld a high-quality geotextile membrane to the underside of each panel. This heat-weld attaches the membrane firmly to the honeycomb structure and creates a tray for the gravel to sit in. This not only prevents weed growth but also stops the gravel from migrating under the cell wall which causes the honeycomb structure to rise and become exposed, making it susceptible to irreparable damage.
