ACTI’Ninja trails are thrilling obstacle courses promoting an active lifestyle for children and teenagers aged 6 to 14 years.

They consist of modules (individual sections of children’s outdoor play equipment) that can be combined to create unique timed trails. A stopwatch is started when the child crosses the start line and stopped when they cross the finish line. The child must use strength, balance, endurance and dexterity to beat the clock and challenge their friends to the daring time trials.

An information panel on each module explains the exercises, with pictograms and a QR code which directs users to further information.

Children can play independently or have a team adventure for relay races or shuttle runs. These activities could be timed and might have to be completed in the best possible time or in a limited period.

The varied range of modular designs can be tailored for different ages and skill levels. There are easier trails for 6-8-year-olds, and trails ranging from intermediate to challenging for users aged 8 and above. The equipment can be combined and adapted to ensure the optimum design fits to the dimensions of the playground.
