The project
The ambitious £13.5 million regeneration project of Leicester’s St Margaret’s bus station and its surrounding streets has built a striking new building and created more attractive routes for pedestrians and cyclists as part of Leicester City Council’s regeneration scheme.
Work undertaken
HMS was appointed by Danaher and Walsh to lay approximately 2,200 metres of decorative resin bonded surfacing in Amber Gold to the main carriageway centre islands, footpaths and cycle lanes to ensure the project remained in keeping with the rest of the city centre and to improve the routes for pedestrians.
We have been an instrumental part of Leicester City’s regeneration over the years and have been the go-to contractor appointed to lay the resin bonded surface dressing you can see today all over the city.
