Security fencing systems designed and developed by CLD for universities, schools and nurseries include rigid wire mesh fencing in a variety of designs, railings and temporary fencing systems.
CLD's range of school fencing has been designed and developed to cover every use, from boundary demarcation to sports fencing.
This includes the latest updates from NaCTSO on Guidance for Crowded Places and how school fencing should offer cover from view with the additions of screens to the perimeter in high traffic areas.
CLD's SafeTFix Hidden Fixing System is completely snag-free and has been designed to meet the requirements of life in high-use environments such as nurseries, high schools and colleges.
With the publication of the crowded spaces guidance on schools from the NaCTSO (National Counter Terrorism Security Office) in 2017, CLD continued to develop new fencing systems that would meet the demand of ‘cover from view’ screens to the fencing line with its Screenfence system in both twin wire and 358 mesh options, or Screenogril.
From rolled-top school fencing system Rotop with its 150 x 50mm mesh aperture and zero external fixings, to cover from view screen fencing, each system has been designed to offer the right level of protection for each stage of school education.
Thanks to investment in CNC machinery at its Cheshire manufacturing plant, CLD has been able create laser-cut school fencing designs. Working from complex patterns through to hand-drawn designs by children it can create one-of-a-kind school fencing and gate systems.
CLD's range of Flexa-Rail railing systems features the Playsafe ROSPA-approved bow-top railing for use around children’s play areas. However, for the best in school ground protection, profiled Ultimate school fencing offers hardwearing 165 x 38mm mesh apertures on 5mm nominal wires.
All CLD's gate systems can be infilled with the full range of school fencing, including bespoke laser-cut panels.
