Redlynch has over 25 years' experience in the manufacture and installation of wet pour safer surfacing systems for a wide range of applications, including schools, adventure playgrounds, leisure centres, recreational grounds, splash pads, hospitals, surgeries and care facilities.

The surfacing can be installed to varying depths to achieve different critical fall heights.

Key benefits

  • Wide choice of designs and colours
  • Can be laid on existing tarmac or concrete
  • Porous and fast draining
  • Durable

Composition

The top layer is a non-slip wearing course comprised of durable EPDM rubber granules mixed with a polyurethane binder. Black surfaces use a recycled EPDM rubber, while coloured surfaces are formed from virgin EPDM rubber and are coloured throughout.

The base course consists of granulated recycled rubber and polyurethane binder to varying depths dependent on the play equipment above. The soft base layer cushions the fall, progressively deforming and lengthening the impact over time and distance.

Colour options

A range of 21 colours is available, and effects such as seas, islands or complementary colours schemes can easily be incorporated into a design.

Accreditation

Tested and laid in accordance with BS EN 1176:1988 and BS EN 1177:1998. Meets all required standards for freefall height, durability, slip resistance, flammability and resistance to indentation.

Installation

Installed by Redlynch Leisure's own specialist installers.
