Free-draining SubSoil has a 95% sand content comprising predominantly medium sand (0.25-0.50mm) and coarse sand (0.50-1.00mm). It is ideal for more demanding schemes where a free-draining subsoil is essential, such as tree pits, lawns and sports pitches.

Whilst the higher sand content does not meet the British Standard, free-draining SubSoil complies with the Standard in all other respects and the specific non-compliance is deemed by soil scientists Tim O’Hare Associates, who tested and analysed the product, to be “minor and insignificant”.

SubSoil is fully analysed to ensure it is free of contaminants that could be harmful to plant growth
