AberMajesty is a combination of AberRoyal, AberRegal and Musket and is suitable for greenkeepers looking to manage a blend of browntop bentgrasses that offers the prerequisite requirement of good shoot density and fineness of leaf, but with vital added resistance to fusarium.
AberRoyal and AberRegal were bred at the only UK-based seed breeding programme at the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences (IBERS) in Aberystwyth. UK greenkeepers regularly report faster establishment of Aber Bentgrasses at lower temperatures than they have seen with other browntop bentgrasses. Breeding trials at IBERS and tests at the STRI show an above average resistance to fusarium in AberRegal
