Doing a mile run on the school field can churn grass and create mud and a simple, metre-wide track will withstand high footfall. RTC's tracks have been designed to particularly help primary schools struggling to find the space or adequate surfacing.

Rubber mulch tracks

The beauty of rubber mulch is that it can be laid directly on grass – cutting out expensive groundworks. Although it has the resemblance of bark chippings, the mulch is bonded. This makes it easier for children to run. Rubber mulch is also well-suited in many weather conditions so that children can continue their run throughout the year.

Wet pour tracks

An alternative to rubber mulch is wet pour. It’s the ideal surface for installing a path for running onto an existing hard surface. Wet pour on the school field requires ground preparation at an additional costs. Wet pour tracks are available in a variety of colours and, just like rubber mulch, it can be installed in any shape.
