Deep water aquatics

Deep water aquatics are an alternative to lilies, and are more tolerant to shade. Nymphoides and Aponogeton for example, are ideal for small ponds or as additions to large lakes. Aponogeton is prolific, providing scented flowers throughout much of the year (if protected from frosts) tending to die back only around August for a short while when the
