Environmental Street Furniture (ESF) supplies the Aureo passenger shelter, manufactured by mmcité. Aureo is designed to provide pedestrians with sheltered waiting areas at bus stops, train platforms and other transport areas. They have also been used for other applications including payment meters at car parks.

Composition and manufacture

The Aureo shelter can be manufactured with either a flat or arched roof made from polycarbonate or glass. The supporting structure allows for the optional inclusion or exclusion of side walls, which can be convenient for particularly narrow spaces. The shelters are designed to offer a high resistance to vandalism and weather corrosion.

Finish and appearance

The galvanised steel structure has a powder-coated finish, whilst the rear and side walls can be specified in tempered glass or wood lamellas. The roof canopy can be either twin-walled polycarbonate or tempered glass.
