Vegetated wall system for 10m-high retaining bank

The Flex MSE® vegetated wall system was used to create a 10m-high retaining wall for a highway that runs over a sensitive stream.

There were 6 batter-angle changes on the bank, and the face of the wall was less than 1m away from a mature-growth forest.

Flex MSE® did not impact the existing site in the way gabion or concrete systems would.

Once hydroseeded, the result was a green bank which blended in with the natural setting.
