Urban Fencing's range of automated cantilever sliding gates is manufactured to accommodate 100% duty cycle usage, providing confidence to buyers and specifiers when purchasing such a valuable asset. Suitable for a range of commercial and industrial applications, the gates can accommodate spans of up to 12m.

Operation and control

Gates are operated by a 230V single phase 50Hz 10 amp power supply. They can be integrated with a variety of access control systems, including:

  • proximity card readers

  • keypads

  • remote control

  • push-button control

  • Intercomm

  • videophones

  • tokens

  • counting systems

Safety features

Urban cantilever sliding gates are supplied with a manual release mechanism allowing the gate to be moved into manual mode in the unfortunate event of power failure. The central housing unit is fitted with dual height photo-cells and edges 5no profiled rubber safety edges all are connected to the main control unit transmitting messages back and forth, in the event of any fault being detected the gate will stop automatically ensuring the safety of any obstruction and or personnel.

Composition and manufacture

The urban cantilever gate is designed and constructed to the highest quality and are fully compliant with BS EN 12453. Gates can be supplied with a variety of infills that can be matched to any of Urban Fencing's fencing systems. Infill options include standard tubular, mesh, palisade, timber or specialist designs. Anti-intruder spike toppings can also be specified.

Finish and appearance

All gates are epoxy coated and can be supplied in a wide range of standard RAL colours.

Installation

We offer a full installation service, however, the gates are designed to provide a simple 'plug and play' installation should you wish to install them. All gates are fully tested prior to delivery, and once the gate reaches the site it is simply lowered on to prepared concrete bases. Specification sheets are supplied prior to delivery.
