Furze Platt Senior School is an ambitious, high-achieving and fully inclusive school that sets high aspirations for its students and staff.

Requirement

As part of on-going improvements, the school wanted to replace its wooden outdoor furniture with a more sustainable long-term option.

Solution

GoPlastic benches and picnic tables were specified as they are durable, rot-proof and made from recycled plastic.

The furniture was used in two outdoor areas:

  • Student recreational spaces outside the science and tech blocks

  • Spectator seating for sports facilities including tennis courts
