Achieve a flawless finish with Grad – the invisible clip-based system for the rapid installation of flawless, ’hidden-fix’, screw-free decking.

With Grad’s unique clip system, you can achieve a perfect finish every time. Grad has a wide range of compatible boards and can be installed in less than half the time of traditional methods. Individual boards can be easily removed without damage using special keys.

The Outdoor Deck Company supplies the Grad system as either component parts, or as a fully-integrated system of pedestals, support rails and specially-milled boards.

Advantages

Grad's unique ‘clip grip’ design means that decks can be installed at least twice as fast as traditional methods, all with perfect alignment.

Grad clips grip deep into the heart of each board providing a resistance of up to 300kg of uplift. However, when necessary, individual boards can be easily and quickly removed using the Outdoor Deck Company's special tool without marking or damaging the face of the material.

Grad also has a cladding system which can be used for walls, fences, ceilings and other surfaces.

Installation

The Grad system can either be fitted onto conventional timber joists, or mounted onto the bespoke support rail system, where finished build-ups of pedestal, joist, clip and deckboard start at around 60mm.

It can be installed without pedestals with build-ups of just 35mm, which opens up a wealth of innovative design opportunities on many new-build roof terrace and balcony projects.

Finish options

A range of compatible boards is supplied in a variety of profiles to give architects and specifiers a wide choice of finishes for decking projects. They are supplied pre-grooved and are protected by long warranties. FSC-certified products are available on request.
