Althon can produce bespoke gratings and trash screens for in-situ structures and precast headwalls to any specification. Gratings are typically manufactured in either galvanised steel, stainless steel grade 304 or grade 316. Other materials can be discussed if required. Gratings are typically manufactured in either galvanised steel, stainless steel grade 304 or grade 316. Other materials can be discussed if required.
Applications
Cranked gratings are manufactured for use with flow control devices such as flap valves and penstocks, sloped gratings, trash screens and cage gratings. Access hatches, walkways and safety rails can also be provided.
When supplied for use with Althon's precast headwalls these products can either be pre-fitted to the units or provided with the fixing points pre-drilled. This reduces installation time on site and is a significant health and safety benefit.
Services
When producing bespoke items Althon will provide a quotation detailing the specification and, on receipt of an order, produce a drawing for approval prior to manufacture. 3D visualisations can be provided where gratings are designed with access hatches or other moving parts.
Security
Althon also provides gratings and trash screens with padlock facilities and other security features if required.
