RootBridge® System is a load-supporting steel lattice framework designed to protect tree root zones during construction by preventing soil compaction and root damage. Made for use in root protection areas, it bridges over roots to allow paving or access without harming trees, supporting loads up to 30 tonnes with minimal structure height. Available in variants for pedestrian, light vehicle, and heavy vehicle use.

Installation

Installed by inserting foundation screws between the roots, up to approximately 2m into the soil, without damaging the roots.

The final surface finish of steel mesh grids can, if required, be overlaid with block paving, asphalt or resin bound.
