The Terra G8 is based on the design of the LoTracker sliding gate, which has been manufactured for the past 20 years and has been installed at numerous locations around worldwide.
The Terra G8 cantilevered gate is a PSSA Verified product.
Impact testing
Frontier-Pitts simulated an impact test, with results showing the gate could stop the energy produced by a 7.2t vehicle travelling at 64kph.
This was followed by the successful impact test of the Terra G8 to the new International IWA 14-1 specification, stopping a 7.2t vehicle travelling at 64kph (40mph), within the aperture.
