This vibrant mixture of cultivated annual species is ideal for urban roundabouts or derelict sites, where UK natives are not required. It is perfect for providing temporary colour in areas that pose no risk to natural habitats.
If sown from late March to May with adequate moisture and warmth, it should flower in 60-80 days. Annuals can also supplement wildflower mixes, offering first-season colour while perennials establish.
Domesticated species extend the flowering period, with blooms starting in late March, though flowering may be delayed in cold springs.
The mix includes native and non-native flowers like Flax, Cornflower and Cosmos.
