The Onion gazebo is a handmade timber shelter constructed from steam-bent oak. Suitable for a range of environments including schools, public parks, private gardens and business developments, the Onion is durable, easy to install and available in a choice of three standard sizes.

Materials

The Onion is made from English oak. Its ribs are steam-bent and glue-laminated, and the nine seating bays are profile cut from kiln dry oak. The shelter also comes with an oak floor.

The Onion can be roofed in a choice of materials, including green roofs, or left open.

Seating capacity

  • Shallot - the smallest onion, with 6 ribs and 5 seating bays.
  • Standard - the most popular size of Onion with 8 ribs and 7 seating bays.
  • Spanish - the largest Onion, with 10 ribs and 9 seating bays.

  • Shallot: 1.1m base (3m at its widest point) and 2m tall
  • Standard: 2m base (2.6m at its widest point) and 3.5m tall
  • Spanish: 2.3m base (3m at its widest point) and 4.5m tall
