Concave featherboards offer an alternative to traditional flat top style fencing. They incorporate vertical boards but with a dipped arched style, curving downwards from each side of the panel.

Featherboard panels are one of the most robust panel fencing styles available. With a heavy top and bottom rail for increased strength and stability.

Panels are 1.83m wide and 50mm thick and are constructed with 3 rails. All weathered, clad with 100mm featherboard pales. Galvanised nails are used throughout for longer life.

Featherboard Concave Fence Panels

Concave Featherboard panels offer an alternative style from the Convex and Level Top panel; they also have vertical boards but present a dipped arched style of fencing panel by curving downwards from each side of the panel.

All our standard panels are 1.83m wide and 50mm thick. Constructed with two to three rails depending on height and all weathered, clad with 100mm featherboard pales, and galvanised nails used throughout for a longer life.

Featherboard panels are one of the strongest panel fencing available. We have now improved the specification on these panels by making the top and bottom rail heavier, which creates an even stronger fence for you. If you need a narrower panel to complete your fence, it is fine to cut a panel to the correct size on site. Please remember to treat any cut ends with Jakcure Cut Treatment.

Recommended Fixings

Jackson's recommend using 6 screws per panel or 12 per panel if using capping rails plus an additional 4 per gravel board. 60mm, stainless steel, self-drilling countersunk screws are available in packs of 100 or 200 to secure panels to posts. Panels should be screwed to the posts to secure the fence run.
