SpeedMaster™ bi-folding trackless speed gates are suitable for high-level security sites where quick opening and closing is essential, or where space is at a premium.

To maintain the protection of their perimeter, high-level security premises need a speedgate that opens and closes quickly. SpeedMaster™ bi-folding trackless speedgates open at more than twice the speed of traditional swinging gates.

The rapid opening and closing action ensures traffic rarely stands still, so there’s less opportunity for tailgating. SpeedMaster™ speedgates fold in on each other as they open, so are ideal where space is limited.

The RHS steel frame gates feature either tubular steel vertical bars, or the clients' choice of infill, including CLD's ultra-defensive Securus™ range. Spiked tops, warning lights and sirens can also be fitted, if needed.

Designed for continuous operation, SpeedMaster™ gates use a PLC-controlled motor, worm and wheel gearbox with a direct-drive shaft connected to the leaf gate, so they open and close smoothly. They’re also compatible with most access control options, including keypad, proximity card and remote control.

Operation

SpeedMaster™ speed gates utilise a PLC-controlled, inverter-driven, 3-phase motor, worm and wheel gearbox with a direct-drive shaft connected to the gate leaf, giving a smooth and positive movement. They are rated for 100% duty cycle, ie continuous operation.
