About Barrell Sculpture
Barrell Sculpture creates beautiful sculpture and sculptural seating from our workshop and studio in Falmouth, Cornwall. Sculptor Ben Barrell has been making his signature fluid organic shapes and forms, inspired by the dynamic forces of nature, for more than twenty years. He has specialised in sculptural seating, bringing together elegance and beauty of form with the functionality of seating.
He is also known for monumental sculpture, and has worked with leading architects and landscape architects on projects in Dubai, Taipei, Mauritius, Hong Kong, Shanghai and across Europe.
The Barrell Pebble Seats were the orihina lsculptural Pebble Seat, specified initially for an RHS Chelsea award-winning show garden, and quickly picked up t oeb the feature seating at gardens by the Bay in Singapore. The Pebble Seats can now be seen at locations both private and public across the world.
Ben works with many materials but often returns to his favourite concrete and bronze, which both allow him to bring the flowing shapes he visualises to fruition.
