Founded in 1983, Theories Landscapes has experience in designing and building playgrounds for secondary schools.

The playgrounds are designed to help nurture the physical, creative and social development of children, from the aspiring sportsman or the budding musician, to the social butterfly or the quiet thinker.

Playground designs

Theories works with teachers and children to design playground spaces that can be enjoyed by everyone, with areas for physical, tactile imaginative play, as well as social or quieter areas, sensory play equipment, and educational or interactive features such gardening.

Projects can be designed and built in stages as funding allows, and Theories Landscapes can also assist with the process of sourcing and securing funding.

Accreditation

Risk assessments and certifications are provided, and all playground equipment is designed and manufactured to BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 standards.
